BBDO partnered with Hour One to quickly produce and amplify a creative, relevant, election-themed idea for Pedigree. To highlight the relevance of Pedigree’s brand message in America’s divided political context, an actress wearing a Clinton shirt was planted at a Trump rally, and later at a Clinton rally sporting a Trump shirt. With a “lost” dog in-tow, the actress eagerly sought rally-supporters’ help to find the dog’s owner. The result was proof that something as simple as the love of dogs could unite people so divided, and bring out the good in all of us.
This social content piece was so loved by the Pedigree clients, they put it on-air. It was also well-received by viewers and the media alike, showing up in Facebook posts as well as appearing on AdAge, CNN Media and local news channels.
